Position: Wireless Network Testers

Location: Naperville, IL

 

Job Description:

·         As a Tester, you will be responsible for the 3G NodeB Performance Testing and Call KPI Testing.

·         The project consists of Performance Testing and Call KPI Testing of 3G NodeB.

·         The work includes development of test plans and test cases, execution of test cases, development of automation scripts for testing, analysis of test results, problem investigation/reporting, and status reporting.

·         The specific work includes software load/releases update, using real UMTS mobile devices and existing automation tools/scripts and complex internal RNC and NodeB log/trace collection and analysis tools to execute mobility tests that capture KPI test results over hours and/or several days.

 

Domain Knowledge:                3G WCDMA

Programming Languages:      UNIX Shell scripting

Protocols:                                RANAP, NBAP and other Radio Protocols

Operating Systems:                 Linux

Tools:                                       K1297/ NetHawk

 

Experience:-

·         3+ years of wireless software testing experience is preferred.

·         Should have very good working knowledge on wireless protocols/standards (RANAP, NBAP).

·         Should have well versed with the 3GPP specifications.

·         Knowledge and experience with UMTS Radio Frequency test execution and analysis using a Multi-Path Channel Emulator/Fader (i.e., Azimuth Systems ACE MX) is highly desirable.

·         Load/Performance testing with the commercially available tools is an added advantage.
