Job Title: SQL DBA
Location: Illinois/TX/OK
Duration: 06+ months contract with extensions
Rate : $35/-hr on C2C

Job Description:
Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance. Works with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed.
Understanding Query execution plan Understanding of SQL Profiler & other Windows performance monitoring tools , Performace counters , analyzing profiler outputs
Remote Access --Advanced -- Linked Server, Querying linked server data TSQL --Advanced -- Writing complex queries / SP.
Resolving performance issues in SP /Queries. 
Handling Fragmentation / Statistics/ Index related issues related to slow performance.  --monitoring and troubleshooting any
Database Performance Tuning(L4)-Database Memory,I/O Tuning .Planning for Performance in Database Design, Indexes tuning and Design Adviser Configurations parameter tuning.Table and index maintenance,Data base reorganization
