SR. HYPERION ANALYST

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: 6+ months

Strong experience in Hyperion financial close management is critical.

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

? Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Finance Business Analyst/Functional Consultant. 5 -6 years’ experience with Hyperion with experience in Hyperion 11.1.2 or higher.

? Implementation experience and detailed understanding of the following Applications modules in Release 11: HFM, FDM, DRM in the Global Finance Organization.

? Working knowledge of Hyperion configurations / setups for HFM / FDM.

? Must have exceptional communication skills, able to communicate and gather business requirements effectively with both a technical audience and business users.

? Must have experience giving presentations to senior management and Business Process owners

? Exposure to Oracle GL will be an advantage

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Document functional business requirements and business cases

? Manage requirements process with end users

? Assist with translating business requirements into a solution design

? Participate in appropriate steps during system development life cycle to ensure functional requirements are met.

? Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives

? Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be

? Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management

? Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts

? Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff

? Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary

? Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements

 

EDUCATION:

 

4-year degree in Information Management, MIS, or related field.
