Role: Does Backup/Load of tables in our test environment with production data and data modeling of our MMIS/DW system.
Skills: Good knowledge of Oracle 11g, PERL and UNIX. Familiarity with SQL and TOAD or similar. Knowledge of Oracle Data Loader or Data Pump a plus. Some data modeling experience - knowledge of a data modeling tool at least as a user – knowledge of Oracle Data Modeler a plus.
Specifics: This position requires at times working odd hours (at night or during the week end) with short notice.
Develops system and programming specifications. Designs data processing solutions based on business need and technical considerations. Researches and resolves application production problems. Monitors application performance and performs run time improvement functions. Prepares system documentation.
Ability to code and test computer program.
Ability to respond to customer problems/need.
Ability to interact with operations, support, and customer group.
Ability to work flexible hours
