Position : Java Developer

Location : Norwalk CT

Responsibilities:
•You will be responsible for coding, unit-testing and maintaining projects for one of our teams.
Automation of business and technical processes, trouble-shooting production issues and fixing as needed, maintaining and improving deployed code as needed.
Work closely with the Product line Technical Leads and other software engineers to ensure that company coding standards, policies and IT procedures are observed as well as participate in the evaluation and selection of new strategies and technologies.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
2+ years of experience in a job with Software Development duties, specifically focussed on Middle-Tier/back-end Java Development.
Requires object-oriented design skills, proficiency in JAVA programming language.
Knowledge and work experience with OpenSource Technologies (i.e Spring Framework, Tomcat, Eclipse).
Familiarity with front end technologies - JSP, JQUERY, CSS, HTML, JSON and experience with JDBC and XML (parsers, XML schema, XSLT, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge with LINUX/Solaris/Windows operating systems.
Good understanding of SQL and using relational databases. 
Multitasking, time management, team work and analytical problem-solving skills are required.
