Job Description:

The Senior Citrix Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of new system, upgrades, migrations, and modifications, including: planning, testing, coordinating and scheduling.

The Senior Citrix Engineer will analyze monitoring and maintenance data and implement changes as required, to achieve optimum performance.

They will also make and implement recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels.

Desired certification: • Citrix: CCA, CCEE or CCIA (Preferred) • Microsoft (Preferred) • VMware (Preferred)

 

Responsibilities:

·         10+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and migrating XenApp (4.x, 5.x, 6.x and 7.x) environments.

·         10+ years of experience with Citrix Remote Access Technologies.

·         10+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows 2K Server.

·         5+ years of experience implementing, deploying, and supporting Citrix NetScaler.

·         5+ Years' experience implementing, deploying, and supporting Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix Provisioning Services.

·         Extensive and proven knowledge of Citrix technologies: XenApp 4.x & 5.x, 6.x, 7.x and , Provisioning Services, Citrix NetScaler/Advanced Access Gateway, Web Interface and Edge Sight.

·         Experience with VDI Using Citrix (XenDesktop) and or VMware (View, Horizon) technologies a plus.

·         Extensive and proven knowledge of Microsoft Technologies: Server 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows XP, Windows 8.x

·         Extensive knowledge of Internet Explorer and other browser configurations.

·         Strong background with, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory Policy Management, SAN, NAS

·         Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, DOS batch, scripting
