Job Description:
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Phoenix AZ for two weeks and will work remotely for the remainder of the contract. Must be able to work PST hours
Start: 1 week
Rate: 55-60 MAX. This is not a high level role. They need a mid level person that can work independently.
Background of request:
Solaris 10 to Solaris 11 upgrade
New Oracle Server hardware being deployed
2 types of server migration/deployment
Scheduled: One build will have 4-5 day to migrate server during window outage
Live: Live migration of existing server
Resource requirements:
Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center
Will Primarily be working in Application Integrator (AI) creating and modifying deployment plans
AI "scripting" modification and elements of O/S features of the boot environment
Knowledge of ZFS
· Vfstab
· Vpools
Knowledge of networking of Solaris 11 (virtual features)
Optimal additional experience:
Knowledge of the Live Migration capability
Ldom / T4 Hypervisor knowledge
