Location: West Valley City, UT
Duration: 12 Months+
Description:
We are looking to fill a mid to senior-level Software Engineer position for a 12-month contract, to help us with our lab system rewrite effort.
Minimal Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other technical field or four years of equivalent technical experience.
• Two years (or more) of Java software development experience using the Spring framework.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in the following areas:
• Spring Security, including a working knowledge of software security.
• RESTful Web Service development.
• JavaScript development using AngularJS.
• Experience with HTML5 & CSS3.
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, JIRA & SVN.
• Experience with MySQL and Oracle.
• An understanding of laboratory software compliance and regulations (CAP, CLIA).
Job responsibilities will require:
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
