Position: .NET Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
· Design, Develop applications and tools using .Net,C#
· Design and develop multi-tier applications
· Documentation skills on architecture, Ability to create necessary high-level design, and low-level design and other engineering artifacts.
· Establish necessary coding standards and best practices
· Knowledge on code review techniques and Conduct Code reviews to ensure high quality of deliverables
· Work on recommended solutions on new and emerging technologies, technology prototypes, and engineering process improvements
· Define and implement on high level technology strategies, standards, best practices, processes and guidelines
Required Skills:
· Thorough knowledge of object oriented concepts
· Strong hands on experience in ASP.NET & C# .NET programming
· Strong understanding and experience in MVC framework
· Experienced in developing multi-threaded applications
· Hands on experience in implementing and consuming web services
· Hands on experience in using open-sources like: Ant, NUnit, etc.
· Thorough knowledge of relational database concepts
· Hands on experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming in DB2 or Oracle or MS SQL
· Good understanding on test-driven development
· Good Knowledge of JQuery.
· Good Experience with AJAX.
· Experience with web services interaction.
· Around 8 years of experience developing Systems' frameworks and software for highly scalable environments
· Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
· Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven development
· Banking Domain (not must)
