WebSphere Administrator with UNIX
OMAHA, Nebraska
We are looking to hire a WebSphere Administrator with UNIX OS knowledge and experience for a contract to hire opportunity with our financial services client in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate will work with a team of System Administrators to business critical applications from development through production. Responsibilities include initial software product install and certification, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of web servers and application servers (WebSphere, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, etc.)
Hiring manager is also looking for someone that has a strong background and foundation in UNIX OS. Focus on WAS and JBOSS for middleware. Need OS level. OS administration. Very seasoned. UNIX all flavors Not looking for syntax. Seeking foundation. Possibly someone who came from a System Administration background. Understanding WAS on UNIX is not good enough, they need to understand the ins and outs of the UNIX Operating Systems.
