SSIS Consultant - Application Development
Houston, TX
Long Term
Only GC/Citizen
Rate : $50/hr
We have an immediate need for a professional with a solution-focused mindset to help our customers solve business challenges through the use of technology. The ideal consultant is an individual who wants to be part of an energetic, innovative and successful team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Architects, Software Engineers and Systems Analysts to develop enterprise data warehouse solutions
- Enhancing and maintaining current BI framework
- Translate functional and technical specifications into efficient, scalable and maintainable BI solutions
- Assist with maintaining standards and identifying of best practices
Experience
- 5+ years of working experience with SQL Server and SSIS
- 3+ years of working experience with SSAS
- Ability to design, build, test, optimize, and maintain SQL Server and ETL tools
- Advanced in TSQL and dimensional data warehousing
- Competency with MDX queries
- Process oriented, ownership of projects and deadlines
- Self-starter, ability to identify actionable steps towards completing objectives
- Strong problem solving ability, analytical and design skills
- Strong experience with query performance tuning and scaling database batch processing for large data volumes
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
