REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Immediate authorization to work in the US
- 3+ years relevant work experience using Microsoft SQL server/Oracle database, Windows, SQL and XML
- Experience mapping XML to fillable PDF's
- Experience creating and updating DDLS
- Solid Java programming and a working knowledge of C# or solid C# programming skills and working knowledge of Java
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Full software life cycle experience including requirements gathering through product enhancement releases.
- Ability to work independently
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Experience with Spring Framework, web service client implementation, and distributed systems.
- Customer support experience.
- Technical lead experience.
- Web hosting experience.
Familiarity with the Internal Revenue Service's Modernized e-File system
