Job Title: Java Application Developer
Location: Menomonee Falls WI
Job Type: 6 Months Contract

Job Description
· This person should be self-motivating with the technical skills to complete web based applications in a secure enterprise environment.
· The engineer needs to utilizing best practices of software development using the Java stack and communicating effectively with: project managers, business analysts, quality assurance and architects to understand requirements, discuss solutions, and assist testers to understand reported issues and provide clarity on scope of fixes.
· Quickly analyze and understand existing applications through code research 5+ years enterprise web application development with Java, J2EE and Sybase/SQL Server 2+ years development with Struts, Apache Tiles and Spring Web framework.
· Strong command of all aspects of Spring framework. 2+ years development with ORM solutions, specifically JPA/Hibernate 2+ years development REST and SOAP web services using Spring MVC Experience designing large scale Java applications with high availability
· Experience with web application refactoring Complete full lifecycle application development experience including understanding requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and performance tuning.
· Knowledgeable in Object Oriented Development principles Exposure to current best practices of software development including refactoring, test driven development, and continuous integration
· Experience developing automated unit tests with JUnit and Selenium Working knowledge of development using one/more middleware such as SunOne, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss. Experience with one/more version control tools such as PVCS, Subversion or CVS.
· Experience with developing build and deployment scripts using Maven Experience with one/more continuous integration tools such as AntHill Pro
· Experience with implementing solutions for secure web applications
Preferred Skills :
· Bachelor's degree or higher MIS, CS or other technology related field.
· Webserver: Apache App server: JBoss Continuous Integration experience with one/more of the following: AntHill Pro, Hudson, Jenkins, Bamboo Version control: Subversion/branching, tags Financial industry experience Maven
