Job Title : Webfocus Developer
Location : Columbus, OH
Experience : 8+Years
Duration : 12+Months
Technical/Functional Skills
- WebFocus tool
- Netezza
- Data Mapping
Experience Required
- Experience in design and development of reports & dashboards using WebFocus tool
- Design & Prototype report UI's
- Able to understand the reporting requirements and to translate them into technical design
- Able to define the security as per the requirements
- Experience in handling performance issues with the reports
- Able to define the publishing processes/schedules
- Experience in data blinding (row level, column level)
- Understanding of agile methodologies
-Experience in Webfocus 8.
-Ability to create Portals using HTML, Javascript
-Experience in developing models in Excel (i.e Pie charts, Graphs)
-Participate in Testing
-Good knowledge in SQL's
-Should be able to understand B1/DW Concepts and database design.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Developer role
- Responsible for creating a reporting layer
- Coordination with technical leads, offshore & SMEs, Defect triage, System/performance test support, Code deployment & quality assurance
Generic Managerial Skills
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
Experience in sharing the knowledge, lessons learnt & best practices with the team
Ability to mentor & groom any junior members in the team
Take up challenges & willingness to work in grey
Good Communication
