SAP Basis Consultant

 

• Proficient in System Monitoring Transactions and preparing the SAP Daily/Weekly Health Checks

• SAP Abap/Java System Restart Procedure (Start-Stop process)

• SAP TMS, SAP Archiving and SAP Wily

• SAP Client administration and Handling of RFC Connections

• SAP System Refresh/Copy Activity

• SAP Backup Configuration and Designing

• SAP EHP Upgrads / SAP Migration

• Spool Management and Solution Manager Configuration

• Scheduling and Monitoring of SAP Batch Jobs

• SAP System Performance Tuning (Memory/system)

• SAP Batch Job Management (Redwoord - Cronacle)

• UNIX Script Maintenance, UNIX Server Build Process and Acct Mgmt

• SAP BASIS Copyback

• SAP Marketplace / SAP Router / OSS Support

• SAP GRC/ARA SAP IDM

• SAP System Work/Alert Log monitoring

• ITIL processes (Incident Management / Request fulfilment / Problem Management)

• IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow)

 

Experience/competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• SAP Basis Certified

• Strong team player and Problem solving skill

• Ability to take ownership of incidents/problems and see them through to completion

• Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment and able to work in shifts

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams with a focus on delivery in a rapidly changing environment

• Ability to work cross functionally to meet local and corporate goals.
