Job description:

The Engineer will establish best practice utilizing the Enterprise tools within the infrastructure (VMWare, SCCM, SCOM, Puppet, Splunk), and automate, monitor, maintain, and repair network systems performance, functionality and capacity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability using and administering log management tools such as Splunk.
• Demonstrated ability using and administering monitoring tools such as SCOM.
• Demonstrated ability using and administering performance and capacity planning tools (VRealize Ops, Hitachi Command Suite, etc.).
• Demonstrated understanding of a three-tier web architecture.
• Demonstrated understanding of networking technologies and protocols.
• Demonstrated ability with configuration management (Puppet, SCCM/DCM, VMWare, Hitachi Command Suite, etc.).
