Role: Oracle Database Developer

Location: Berlin, NJ

Local

Duration: 6 Months

 

Experience and Education Requirements:

 

·         Bachelors or Masters in a Technology Development / Engineering discipline.

·         Deep hands-on knowledge of Oracle databases: creating tables, indexes, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers and other database objects.

·         Ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing code when performance issues arise.

·         Experience with designing both relational and non-relational databases and optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability and the ability to design and optimize queries.

·         Experience with Oracle Retail implementation: merchandising, allocation, forecasting, price maintenance, invoice matching, integration bus, AppWorx/UC4 scheduler.

·         Solid understanding of functional (FP) programming in Javascript using current design patterns/practices, especially as it applies to building flexible NodeJS and AngularJS applications.

·         Large scale data processing.

·         Experience driving both standard waterfall and agile development programs.

·         Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.

·         Proficiency in standard office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.

·         Database administration for either Oracle or SQL Server databases is a plus.

·         Experience designing reports and dashboards in MicroStrategy is a plus.

·         Retail experience a plus.
