SAP HR Payroll Consultant
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
· Good experience in SAP HR US Payroll is required.
· Person should be able to work on all areas of US payroll including integration with third party systems like ADP, Vanguard, etc
· He/She should have experience in the areas of local taxes, schema, wage type, etc.4. Some good programming knowledge in ABAP-HR will be an added advantage5. Person should be also be able to work on an onsite offshore model
SAP HCM Payroll Generic Proficiency:
· Ability to read through the customer business processes and simultaneously formulating the adoption of the best business practices in meeting the foreseeable challenges.
· Ability to review, validate the right set of questions. Create solution workshops with senior business managers, review validate solution proposals and estimates, rendering advice on best business practices and getting the buy in to adopt these practices.
· Ability to keep up-to-date with the SAP roadmap and technology relevant to HR domain.
· Ability to create solution road maps integrating multiple disparate processes.
· Ability to present and get the buy in for the solution from senior managers and the CXO levels.
· Implement the solution by leading the team. In addition to leveraging the standard processes, come out with innovative solutions and timely execution of the project within the agreed time lines and the cost.
· Ability to lead a team and participate in presales activity and ability to give suggestions on areas of improvements.
· Knowledge of the quality processes and adopted quality standards in projects.
· Knowledge of the recognized quality tools and Participate in Quality Improvement meetings
· Should have more than 6 years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization and 5 - 8 years of domain experience
Module specific Proficiency:
· Must have good SAP application specific knowledge of the HR/Payroll processes:
· Personnel Administration, Organization Management, Time Management, Benefits Management
· Payroll Accounting
· SAP Tax Model Configuration experience
· Experience in Schema customization
· Good understanding of partial period factoring
· Good understanding of Processing class, accumulation class and evaluation class
· Good understanding of Retro accounting ,Good understanding of wage splits
· Midyear go-live implementation experience
· Managed parallel payroll runs and go-live
· Experience in Guaranteed net amount (grossing up) functionality
· Interfaces to third party applications (E-filing, Trust accounting, Benefits administration)
· HR Analytics
· Integration with other SAP modules
· Interfacet
· FI module
Must have specialized in at least two or more of the country specific payroll localization
· US
· Canada
· UK
· Europe (other than UK)
