Location: Albany, NY

Job Description:

1.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Excellent knowledge in designing enterprise data architectures

·         Data Warehouse Design required – ability to develop and manage a transformational vision of end-to-end data architecture, and phased transition from legacy to future state, that will move from current state (a blended amalgamation of transactional, operational, reporting, and ad-hoc data structures) to an organized, robust, modern data architecture that delivers complex, modern capabilities.

·         Demonstrated success leading organizations through data architecture modernization.

·         Experience in hybrid environments with blend of legacy and modern technologies.

·         Experience with data modeling..

·         Excellent knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

·         Research and recommends best suited approach for the purpose.

·         Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills

 

2.    Preferred Skills: 

·         Knowledge of Exadata is a plus.

·         Knowledge of parallel implementation is a plus.

·         Understanding of financial products.

·         Understanding of any workflow based solution is a plus

·         Understanding of any document reading technologies is a plus

 

Qualifications:

·         Must have at least 7-10 years of experience in financial industry

·         Experience with Workflow based solutions is a plus
