Responsibilities:
Currently, we are interested in candidates with 3+ years of demonstrable experience and who have had a background of working on large-scale web initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional programming skills, an understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability turn business and user requirements into elegant user interfaces and compelling interactive experiences.
Currently, we are interested in candidates with 3+ years of demonstrable experience and who have had a background of working on large-scale web initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional programming skills, an understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability turn business and user requirements into elegant user interfaces and compelling interactive experiences.
It is assumed that Web Developers have the Core Competencies and have mastered the responsibilities outlined below:
• Generate and maintain front-end code
• Work on front-end development activities, solutions, methods, and practices.
• Develop new and effective interactive design solutions on time and in scope.
• Collaborate with UE team to deliver on new business initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Assist in developing methodologies, standards and best practices for the group
• Research and recommend appropriate interactive technologies
• Develop reusable code libraries
• Conduct code walkthroughs and quality assurance with development teams
• Develop web accessible and browser compatibility code

• Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS(jQuery) with focus on cross-browser compatibility and semantic markup.
• Very strong object-oriented development skills. Must be fluent in front-end scripting languages (JavaScript), including handwritten AJAX and jQuery
• Experience in a rapid prototyping or agile environment.
• Experience with User Experience projects and workflow is a plus.
• 3+ years development experience.
• Familiar with unit testing, design patterns and component lifecycle development.
• Experience with CMS systems
• Expert knowledge of front-end debugging tools
• Must have a good sense of visual aesthetics.
