Contract Position: SharePoint Architect

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12 months

 

Duties:

Conduct architectural prototypes to determine the impact of migrating content from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 and develop a proposed SharePoint 2013 architecture, deployment road map and content migration plan . Architecture should include analysis and best practices related to claims based authorizations, content deployment , metadata management, workflow management, application development and operational management to include performance sizing and scaling
• Assist in deployment of SharePoint 2013
• Assist in integrating SharePoint 2010 and/or 2013 claims based authorizations with a 3rd party identity management tool
• Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions and document individual solution architectures to support multiple searches implemented across various content clusters within the current and future Content Management environment which includes FAST, SharePoint 2010 ( future SharePoint 2013), Open Text AGA and SAP Business Warehouse 
• Act as SharePoint design & integration technical consultant with other architects in order to support an integrated enterprise approach
• Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer to other team members

 

Experience Required

• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013 to include sizing, scaling and all other aspects of both platform and solution architecture design 
• Experience with claims based authorizations in SharePoint 2010 and knowledge of claims based authorizations in SharePoint 2013. Experience with integrating SharePoint claims authorizations with a third party identity management solution
• Experience implementing FAST for Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 Search with multiple external content sources including Shared Drives and Open Text using metadata extraction from external sources (preferably SAP Business Warehouse)
• Experience with developing custom document processing capabilities in FAST and in SharePoint 2013
• Minimum of three (3) years of total administering SharePoint experience (2007 , 2010, 2013)
• Minimum of three (3) years NET development or application architecture experience
