The Department of Transportation is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month) contractor assignment to provide IT Infrastructure Service design and service delivery planning for DOT IT, including process definitions, planning and coordination. The selected candidate will serve as a IT Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager, and a focal point for DOT Content Management activities involving Infrastructure teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the DOT Content Management program through creation of planning documentation and coordination of all IT Infrastructure deliverables required for the program, including system capacity and availability, hardware and software procurement, SDLC environment transitions, disaster recovery, documentation, maintenance and support
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the Infrastructure teams, the DOT business clients, the DOT Information Security Office, and the other IT teams | |

| Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: | |
Required:
* Extensive experience in Service Delivery activities regarding IT Infrastructure services
* Experience in developing and implementing standard processes and procedures requesting and utilizing IT Infrastructure resources.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experienced leader with excellent people skills.
* Well organized with project management experience.
* Experience in Infrastructure disciplines: Hosting, Networking, Client Support, Training & Testing.
Preferred Certifications:
* ITIL v3
* PMP |
