We have a requirement with our direct client for an Technical Architect 

 

Position: Architect

Duration: 8 months

Location: Augusta, Maine

 

Required Duties:

· Maintenance of IT System, will encounter FTP failures, etc.

· Maintenance agency website (dreamweaver or HTML configuration)

· Must be a Self directed person, this is not a structured environment.

· Must be Able to take ownership of the project and create some formalized methodologies + answer "why did they develop the system this way?" – table architecture, Logic, understand different ways and performance issues

· SQL Server + visual studio-system set up unclear so the department needs to help with project scope

· Assist with fixing system OR able to come up with a good stop gap solution

Required Skills:

· Strong Communication & Written Skills

· OS: Windows Server

· PROGRAMMING LANG/DVLPMT TOOLS: Perl front end + PL SQL (packages/procedures/scripts)+ java script/html

· DB SYSTEMS/ TOOLS: Oracle 10G - database AND SQL Server - database

· QA/TESTING-APPROACHES, APPS: Daily jobs run+monthly processes that are run
