Job Description:

The client would like to have the current Late Fee ABAP program "FINT" reviewed to determine whether the program should be fixed or restarted from scratch.

 

Current issues:

·         Potential of being double billed.  A T1 customer gets charged 10% twice, even though the maximum amount that can be charged is 10%

·         May be erroneously billed.  An example would be that there is a T1 customer who paid late and when FINT got run, it correctly charged 5%; however when the payment got paid in the second month, the same invoice got charged another 5%, even though the total days late were less than 16 days

·         Potential of incorrectly billed.  A T1 customer gets charged 10% ne month, then for same invoice, get s charged an additional 5% even though the maximum amount that can be charged is 10%

·         Since a partial payment creates a new invoice number, FINT will incorrectly assess a late fee on both the original document and the remaining balance even though the days late were within 15 days and occurred with the same FINT cycle.  The  5% should only be charged on the original invoice only

·         Interest Indicator TE is hardcoded.  Standard SAP configuration should work.  No need to customize.
