Activities
The following are the specific activities that the system developer will be involved with / will perform.
1. Work closely with the technical team, and outside agencies to ensure data requirements of applications are effectively addressed.
2. Work with technical team, Business units, engineering and 3rd party resources / teams to design, develop and enhance; End to end system solutions based on the Oracle 11g platform.
3. Writing interfaces for Webservices, bpel workflows using Oracle databases PL/SQL and SQL
4. Design, develop, debug, test and implement Oracle 11g databases, packages, interfaces and scripts in support of enterprise level system development.
5. Install, configure and maintain Oracle databases and related Oracle products for development is a plus
6. Develop Automated Data Intake and processing functions for data exchange
7. Must be experienced in all aspects of the Oracle 11g database platform required to provide Oracle product selection, in-depth database architecture organization, schema design and database system development. [Advance queues, Data Partitioning, AWR, TKPROF, performance tuning]
8. Experience with Unix Shell scripting , knowledge of the setup, configuration of test data configuration and use tools such as data pump, data masking to setup test data sets as per test cases
9. Good Understanding of webservices and Experience in writing interfaces for java based applications
10. Should have good experience in RAC environment and experience with systems integration
11. Experienced in high volume of data processing and tuning the Sql quries
12. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to comprehend database methodologies.
General:
- 5+ years of experience in full SDLC (Software development life cycle), working with Oracle database development with good experience in Pl/SQL development.
- Desire and Ability to work effectively and contribute as part of a fast moving technical and business unit team.
- Experienced in full SDLC (Software development life cycle) which includes System / Information Engineering, Software Requirements gathering, Systems Analysis and Design, Code Generation, Testing, implementation, maintenance and documentation.
Personal:
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are required.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with and communicate effectively with a variety of BCT internal (Manufacturing, IT, engineering, BU members) and external customers.
· Ability to effectively work with outside 3rd party technical vendors and partners.
