Job Title: Java/Python Developer
Location: Richardson, TX
Duration: 6 month contract
Job Description:
Client, a leading converged infrastructure company, is currently looking for a CMDB developer with heavy focus on Python and Javascript. This is a 6 month contract taking place out of the corporate headquarters in Richardson, TX. This contractor will be actively involved in all stages of the CMDB development projects (i.e. definition, development, deployment).
Required Skills:
3+ years of Python
5+ years in UI design using Javascript, HTML, CSS, HTML5/CSS3 a plus
3+ years progressive development experience
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML (web services), HTTP Request Methods
Must have proficiency in Excel Macros
Experience using ServiceNow CMBD solution and Salesforce.com a big plus
Nice to Haves:
ServiceNow Sys Admin experience, importing, web services, discovery and Crystal Reports
Strong knowledge of Agile Software dev methodologies design and architectural patterns
Creative problem solving skills and strong work ethic
Ability to work with minimal direct guidance, self motivated and proactive
