Title: Siebel Administrator
Location: Austin, TX
Number of Openings: 1
Technical Responsibilities:
· Lead and guide the team on all aspects related to Siebel Administration, both for development and support.
· Investigate and resolve major technical challenges.
· Co-ordinate with the offshore team
· Participate in meetings and discussions with the customer's business and technical teams.
· Follow up with Oracle Corp. for unresolved technical issues
· Co-ordinate with other related teams for the purpose of environment setup or debugging of issues
Relevant Years of Experience: 5-7
Must Have Technical Qualifications:
· Should have prior experience of installing and configuring Siebel 8.1.1.x in Unix environments
· Should have prior experience of installing Siebel 8.1.1.x patches in Unix environments.
· Should have knowledge on executing repository import/export/dev2prod,ddlsync.
· Should have hands on experience on shell scripting in HP-UX/AIX versions.
· Good knowledge on Siebel Architecture (enterprise/gateway/Siebel app and webservers).
· Hands on experience on Apache and Tomcat webservers configuration and tuning on HP-UX and AIX
· Good knowledge on building new Siebel environment and preparing estimates for environment setup.
· Knowledge on using Siebel tools
· Resolving or debugging performance issues reported in Siebel environments.
· Coordinating patching/deployment/migration activities
· Debugging workflows, business service, web-services
· Knowledge on Siebel developer client setup
Must Have Business Qualifications:
· Customer Management skills
· People Management skills
Nice to Have Qualifications:
· Siebel OpenUI experience is preferred.
· Knowledge on IBM DB2 database.
