Title: Peoplesoft Developer
Location: Riverwoods, IL
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience with the PeopleSoft application, the last 3 of which must have been in a position of technical leadership
• End-to-end participation in at least 2 full life cycle implementations is required
• At least 3 years of version 9.0 or higher experience is required
• Expert in SQR / SQL, PeopleTools, PeopleCode and Application Engine programming
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.x or above required
• Proven experience in implementing PeopleSoft modules
• Strong system implementation skills: requirements / process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and production support
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills which demonstrates confidence and fosters as a “Trusted Advisor”.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of full implementation lifecycle methodology
• General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, and technical assessment / strategy
• Knowledge of Workflow preferred
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR, Benefits Administration, Self-Service modules and eApps preferred
• Knowledge of Web servers, process schedulers and application servers is a plus
• Must have good verbal and writing skills
• Knowledge of Human Resources business processes
• Ability to use and modify tools and methods to support customer needs and have an understanding of business strategic issues
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Very organized, able to manage multiple projects; attention to detail
• Motivation and reliability are extremely important as well as commitment to achieving completion of tasks within agreed strict time scale and budget
• Self-motivated, creative and solutions-oriented
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
