MySQL DB Architect

Oakland CA

4 Months Contract

 

·          9+ overall experience working as DBA with MySQL

·          7+ years consistent experience with MySQL Database

·          Must have experience setting up MySQL in virtual environment such as VMWare

·          Must have strong knowledge of hardware including RAID, multi-processor architecture, networking with Database and application connectivity

·          Very strong experience in replication, clustering, tuning, sizing and proactive monitoring

·          Solid experience with both Designing and Building of high Availability/Performing databases

·          Monitoring production databases, performance tuning and backup and recovery processes

·          Experience implementing data center failover including operational practices and procedures
