Desired Skills:-
• 2+ years experience with leading people in an agile/devops environment
• 4+ years of experience developing in Java/JEE, Perl, Python, etc.
• 5+ years software development architecture and infrastructure within an environment that utilizes automation, virtualization and monitoring
• Basic-to-mid level system administration skills (UNIX and WINDOWS platforms)
• 4+ years experience in resolving issues in a broad range of Java and Linux based software technologies
• 4+ years experience with Web Service contracts (XSD / WSDL, Rest APIs, SOAP,JSON)
• Demonstrated ability to interface and interact with business teams in building solutions and providing technical support
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem solving and communication skills
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
• Experience with tools like: Cordys BPM, Mule ESB, Apache Tomcat,
• Experience with the data center automation tools like: HP Server Automation (SA) Network Automation (NA) and Operations Orchestration (OO) a plus
• Experience working within an environment that utilizes cloud, automation and virtualization
• Experience working with a version control system such as subversion or git
• Experience with continuous integration
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with leveraging public clouds
• Demonstrate behaviors of a servant leader, helping to guide the global team while removing roadblocks
• Promoting and supporting automation development best practices within a devops environment
• Implementing highly scalable automations and integration solutions that interface with many subsystems and minimize the need for future development work
• Lead global cross multi-discipline team by planning and assign work from agile backlog to team members
• Hold daily agile standups with global team reviewing current sprint items with team members
• Work closely with agile project teams driving a devops culture to ensure operation considerations are incorporated into design and build phases
• Provide production support to enterprise systems including deployment, tuning and troubleshooting
• Leading technical post-mortem analysis for service interruption recovery; creating preventative action plans
• Ensure that team members create and maintain system documentation for design, configuration and administration for the purpose of equipping other support teams to provide consistent global support
• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
