Our Los Angeles based client is looking for a SQL Developer for a temporary 3+ months contract. ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS:
* Creates efficient and logical databases for clients.
* Designs and codes superior technical solutions.
* Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
* Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
* Communicates and enforces coding standards.
* Reviews work of team.
* Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients.
* Adheres to technical documentation standards defined by IT management.
* Codes applications that process efficiently and accurately.
* Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings.
* Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
* Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
* Understands complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs.
* Effectively employs many different database design techniques.
* Possesses demonstrated work experience with more than one relational database management system.
* Demonstrates expert knowledge of at least one structured programming.
* Understands the benefits of the various programming languages.
* Possesses significant knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures.
* Creates well designed, reusable objects.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of professional experience.
* Experience working with Golden Gate replication tool
* In depth SQL development experience in SQL2000, SQL2005 and SQL 2008.
* Experience of Transactional SQL, DTS, SQL Reporting Service (SSRS) and SSIS packages development.
* Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security.
* Experience in fine tuning SQL queries.
* ASP.Net, VB.Net, IIS Administration.
* Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.
* Extended work hours, as needed.
* On-call availability up to 10 days per month.
