Relevant Experience  & Experience Required (in Yrs)	5+ years SAP Sybase Adaptive Server and Replication Server administration 2+ years MS SQL Server administration AIX, Linux, Windows Server Backup and Recovery, BCP Security Development, QA and Production support Production on-call support Experience with large databases (1+ TB) Database and query tuning Unix shell scripting

Technical/Functional Skills   -MUST HAVE SKILLS	Extensive experience in Sybase ASE and Replication Server administration Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 administration
Roles & Responsibilities	Sybase Adaptive Server and Replication Server administration. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database administration. Database Administrator will provide support for all areas (Installation, Upgrade, Backup, Recovery, Code Deployments, Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, etc.). Should be knowledgeable about the new features in the latest release of database software. Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability and security. Assist with complex queries and has the ability to tune queries to optimize performance. Deploy database changes to production and non production environments. Assists project teams in identifying requirements and cost implications. Customer focused and strong team player. Candidates should be able to work independently under tight deadlines with changing goals and priorities. Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
