Title – Sr Java developer

Location – New York,NY

Duration – 6+ months Contract

Job Description: Sr. Java Developer-BigData for Project Symphony; Project Symphony is an analytics platform combining the power of consumer profiling capabilities with online behaviour to help marketers, agencies and media brands target and engage their customers. The Sr. Java developer will focus on bringing together varied data from different data sources to create a shared and truly world-class capability used across our products.

 

Skills Required:  Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related

• 5+ years relevant work experience as a Java developer using Spring framework.

• Experience with ‘Big Data’: Hadoop, Spark, Clouder Impala, etc.

• Experience with SQL Server, Postgresql is a big plus

• Experience with JavaScript: Angularjs/Jquery is a big plus

• Experience of using Jasper BI tool is a plus

• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical solutions

• Knowledge of business intelligence technology, dimensional modeling, data warehousing
