Job Title : Visual Designer  

Visual Designer-eCommerce

Location : Boston, Massachusetts

Length    : 6 months

Interview : **They will hire via Skype Interview, but must be on-site in Boston for Contract duration**

 

Minimum qualifications

BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product), HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years in a Visual Designer role.

Core design skills; ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.

Must have high-level design experience in eCommerce and Merchandising.

Experience designing outstanding web-based and/or mobile products for a consumer-oriented website.

Interaction design sensibility.

Strong attention to detail.

Expert fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.

Strong desire to keep hands dirty and do production design work when necessary.

Outstanding portfolio.
