Position: Sr. BI Application Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh
Duration: 4 – 6 month project
Role: Design, build, test and validate reports. Responsible for training, maintenance, support and security of the BI application and servers. Data integrity and data warehouse development will also be a critical aspect of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Development, support and maintenance of data warehouses and reports running on MS SQL Server
- Implement BI solutions to solve complex business problems by collaborating with the Data Warehouse team & Business Users by developing required ETL processes and performance tuning the ETL programs/scripts
- Exhibit knowledge in ETL standards for coding and Data modeling skills
Preferred:
- Informatica
- BODS server architecture, data governance and end-end implementation experience
- BODS Jobs development using ABAP work flows
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in BI development, BOE, Data Services, Information Steward, Explorer, Excelcius, Dashboards, Mobile and SQL server database management
- ETL design and development experience
- Experience with SDLC, Change Control, Requirements, Design Documentation and Test Plans
- Monitoring of loads, error reporting and fixing issues with sense of urgency
