Position::  Linux/Windows Automation Systems Engineer

Location::  Washington, DC

Duration:: 1+ year

 

Mandatory Technical Skills :-

 

•              Automation using Unix Shell/Windows Powershell programming, PowerCLi, and Shell scripting

•              Automation Software knowledge. For example: F5 Automation, use of various Software Development Kits, Web Services, REST APIs, etc.

•              Hands-on experience with using REST API, XML (usage and creation), Web Services and Databases (SQL Server)

•              Knowledge of x86, x86_64 hardware, operating system and software configuration

•              Knowledge of Linux/Windows System administration

 

Desirable Technical Skills  :-

         

•              Knowledge of object oriented programming, such as Java, C++ or C# preferred.

•              Experience with cloud technologies like VMware, Amazon, Openstack is preferred

 

Mandatory Functional Skills  :-

 

•              Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

•              Must be able to learn new technologies and the domain space very quickly and present ideas in a team setting.

 

Desirable Functional Skills :-        

 

•              Must have the eagerness to constantly strive to innovate and the ability to initiate discussions regarding new ideas.

•              Team-oriented individual, positive attitude, energetic, result & delivery oriented, keen interest on quality and intense attention to detail
