Here's the description:
Development (80%)
· Design, development, testing and documentation of software
· Assists in requirements analysis and refinement process on a regular basis
· Assists in the estimation of work for the engineering group by defining task breakdown.
Process (20%)
· Works within a team environment using Agile software development.
· Develops plans and strategies with a global perspective in mind.
· Follows software development best practices and processes defined for the project.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree;
· 6+ years' experience in core Java/J2EE (Java 6,7,8) application programming
· Strong experience with application design, development, and deployment.
· Experience building solutions for integration between heterogeneous systems.
· Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information
· Displays an understanding of the functioning of other departments within the organization.
· Maintains a broad perspective and anticipates future challenges and opportunities.
· Uses creative approaches to solving problems.
Technical Qualification:
· SOAP, RESTful, Oracle and or SQL Server.
· Experience with Web 2.0 technologies and one or more UI technologies
· Nice to have experience with C# .
