Senior Software Engineer – Internal Tools
At CyberSource/Authorize.NET our team is responsible for building tools that improve developer productivity and also improve process efficiency. Our goal is to bring a DevOps culture and remove barriers through automation between developer workstation to production. This is an exciting time for this team as they implement build and release automation towards the goal of Continuous Delivery, for team developing solution on .NET stack. We do full-stack development, from front-end(AngularJS, HTML5, CC) to back-end (lots of services implemented in NodeJS, C#, Java/Spring).
You will have responsibility to:
• Keep internal environments healthy through automated code releases and health checks
• Enhance internal tools for deploying code to environments
• Develop solutions on .NET stack to automate build and deployments
• Help us release code frequently and reliably
• Build and consume web services of any flavor (SOAP/REST)
• Be comfortable jumping into unfamiliar code to get the job done
Strong knowledge & experience of working with the following:
• Experience in building tools/automation in C#,.NET 2.0-4.5 (ASP.Net, WCF, WF, ADO.Net, Asmx, WebAPI), Visual Studio 2010/2013
• Knowledge of building application using NodeJS is a big plus
• Knowledge of client side technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, Angular, Bootstrap, JQuery, HTML/HTML5 is a plus
• Knowledge of Web services standards and related technologies (XML, XSL, X-Path, JSON, Rest, Soap, WS*), Web Security, Asp.Net Web security infrastructure
• Knowledge of MSSQL Server 2008 database, Transact SQL, Stored Procedures
In addition to the above, the candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
• 4+ years of relevant tools development experience
• Developing web applications using Web-Services with understanding of commonly used design patterns
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Driven and self-motivated. Work creatively to solve challenging problems
• Very good attention to detail, someone who takes ownership and pride in all work
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Understanding of the software development life-cycle
