Title: Oracle Linux Administrator
Location : Bethpage, NY
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Summary:
· Management of Oracle Linux and Windows guests using the Oracle VM manager 3.3.
Roles are:
· Configuration and troubleshooting of virtual networks and storage repositories and libraries
· Must be able to understand the existing network and storage setup and be able to determine gaps or risks and correct them if possible.
· Expanding the Oracle VM farm – adding new physical servers to the existing virtual environment
· Upgrading Oracle VM manager .
· Upgrading machine firmware.
· Change user replaceable Oracle x-series hardware components such as RAM.
· Patching, troubleshooting and automated OS provisioning and configuration of Oracle Linux and Windows VMs using Oracle Virtual Manager 3.3
· ILOM management 2. Oracle Linux Administration/Windows Administration
· Create/destroy/clone Oracle VM
· Install and patch Oracle Linux 6 and Windows
· Restore snapshots from Oracle ZFS storage appliance
· Extensive experience in different backup and restore procedures in Oracle Linux and Windows. Set up, document and test backup and restore procedure
