Client is looking for an OMS Developer. The manager would like candidates that have experience with Intergraph. This is a straight contract position, that will go thru the end of the year.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for day to day technical operations such as installation and configuration, operation and maintenance of the Mobile Workforce Management Systems, and Web Applications related to the Outage Management systems. This position will be responsible for understanding, documenting, planning and execution of upgrades and disaster recovery processes with minimal impact to the end user. This position will also implement new features within the software and assist with any critical support issues.
The successful individual must have a knowledge of:
• Advanced use of Javascript/HTML/CSS
• Advanced knowledge of client-side operating systems
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Windows Server 2003 and 2012 administration skills
• Intermediate VB.NET skills (Visual Studio 2005/2012)
• Working knowledge and development experience of object oriented programming
• Basic understanding of electricity and electrical networks a plus
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN basic features and functionality
• Experience in the utility sector and knowledge of utility services a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and assertive while possessing the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Create necessary technical and architectural documentation
• Troubleshoot programming changes, errors, and subsequent modifications; must be able to do this with the work of other programmers
• Work as part of a team to ensure existing application systems run smoothly
• Provide input on how to continue to improve the technology
• Desktop administration skills are a plus
• Ability to analyze user requirements and design applications to meet business needs
• Agile experience a plus
