· 10-15 years of experience working with data, voice and video technologies in global companies.
Job Description:
· IT Manager responsible for providing network services.
· Responsibilities include the management of all IT service providers across data, voice, and video technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Management of the health of all network services - this includes the management of the performance, availability, capacity, compliance, and responsiveness of the services delivered by the service providers.
· Provide product lifecycle management for assets providing capability in areas of data networking, voice and video. Manage service providers to ensure assets are refreshed prior to reaching EOS/EOL status.
· Financial management - manage network cost center planning and forecasting for all service and network vendor providers.
· Establish and maintain key operational metrics that demonstrate the health and performance of the network, voice, and video environment.
· Management of the third party vendor(s) that provides the following networking services within the environment.
· Internet/DMZ Service Support.
· Wired and wireless LAN.
· Legacy Voice Network (PBX and Voicemail).
· VoIP and associated Voicemail Support.
· WAN Acceleration Technologies.
· Disaster Recovery Network Infrastructure & Network Support.
· IP address, DNS and DHCP management.
· Carrier Management Services.
· Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to support operational sustainability and cost efficiency initiatives in the areas of data, voice and video.
· Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team to develop & maintain network technology related standards.
· Responsible for an annual budget of approximately $10,000,000.
Skills and Abilities:
· Competency in Global LAN, Video, Wireless and content distribution systems.
· Experience in managing outsourced network environment where delivery of most network capabilities are provided by a third party vendor.
· General knowledge of Cisco and similar network infrastructure devices such routers, switches, wireless access points, wireless controllers, WAN accelerators, Telephone PBXs, VoIP Infrastructure, WAN circuits, business to business VPN, SSL VPN Appliances.
· VLANs and switch redundancy.
· Security configurations (VPN, DNS, DHCP, FTP, HTTP, and Firewalls).
· Network Optimization (SIP trunking, VOIP).
· Experienced negotiating and managing hardware and software contracts and vendors.
· Commitment to providing exemplary service with uncompromising integrity.
· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
· Willingness to work through conflicts with openness.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
Excellent knowledge of ITIL; prefer ITIL certification.
