One of our clients seeking a Senior ETL Developer in Santa Monica, California (CA).
Summary:
The Senior ETL Developer will have a shared responsibility for the successful implementation of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions. This individual will work on an exciting combination of new projects and initiatives, enhancements to existing solutions, and support of production environments. This position will become an integral part of a thriving team of ETL and BI developers and analysts. This individual will help us integrate our many diverse data sources into unified business solutions. Responsibilities: * Analyze, design, develop, implement and support ETL solutions using Informatica, OWB, and other tools * Work on projects, enhancements, and production support issues. Production support includes rotating weekend on-call coverage * Mentor and collaborate with other ETL developers, BI developers, analysts, and project managers * Ensure timely delivery of ETL solutions (fast-paced business environment) * Mentor junior Informatica resources * Communicate status and technical considerations for production support issues, project work, and non-project work to both technical and non-technical audiences * Make recommendations for continuous improvement of the data environment * Communicate and collaborate with offshore / offsite resources, which may include the training of these resources
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of Informatica experience * 2+ years of Oracle Warehouse Builder preferred * 2+ years of experience with Oracle Database (9i/10g/11g) * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical audiences * Must be a motivated self-starter * Business Intelligence experience, preferably with Oracle BI (OBIEE) * Experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, and ETL tools * Experience with UNIX * Experience with B2C and eCommerce business models, data, and systems is a plus * Experience with Oracle EBS is a plus * CRM application experience is a plus
