–  We want someone who has an insatiable thirst for technology, desire to learn and grow – individually, with the team, and the business.
–  Someone who has a passion to lead, architect, design, document and implement comprehensive platform solutions using security best practices.
–  In this role the ideal candidate will apply their devops technical expertise leading a team to deliver a solution to one of the many platform challenges within the company.
–  This role requires an individual with strong technical skills and agile experience delivering projects using automation tools and technologies.
•  What open source technology is available that can be applied as part of our toolset?
•  How do we optimize performance, reduce downtime, and automate?
–  Let's discuss this over our team lunches/white board sessions. we want someone who is willing to challenge the status quo and make a difference.
–  This is an extremely challenging position, but would be the perfect fit for someone who wants to contribute and grow.
–  Let's get more involved in the community by attending meet ups and conferences.

•  Below is a list of technologies we currently use and expect an ideal candidate to have strong experience with. we tend to be technology agnostic
–  Whatever is the best fit for the job.
some technologies we use:
•  Automation: ansible, jenkins
•  Repositories: git
•  Web architectures: nodejs, lamp stack, java, jboss, tomcat
•  Scripting: python, bash
•  Cloud providers: aws (cf for any stacks, aws cli, botocore, lambda, ecs, beanstalk, etc.), rackspace (openstack, nova)
•  Odn: akamai, cloudfront
•  Database: mysql, mongo, redshift, dynamo
•  Containerization/disposable environments: docker, vagrant
•  Network operation tools: icinga2, new relic, logstash, elasticsearch, nagios
•  Operating systems: centos, rhel
