Location: Fort Worth, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Applicants for this job posting will be considered for the Project Manager position on the Flight Attendant Tablet team and other initiatives within Operations Technology.

·         5+ years of experience managing large IT software development projects using structured PM and System Development methodologies/practices with project planning tools

·         Thorough knowledge of IT project life cycles, particularly SDLC

·         Agile development methodology

·         Broad experience in a variety of computing platforms (mobile, client/server, etc.)

·         Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization (such as the Project Management Institute)

·         Strong experience gathering and documenting complex system requirements, technical specifications, and developing detailed system diagrams

·         Experience managing project financials is strongly preferred

·         Experience and a full understanding of failover/failback, disaster recovery and mirroring concepts is preferred

·         Experience delivering mission-critical applications in a high-availability environment is preferred

·         Experience delivering in-house and commercial off-the-shelf applications is preferred

·         Broad understanding of crew operations or flight operations processes is preferred

·         PMP certification is a plus

·         Some travel domestically and internationally may be required

PREFERRED TECHNOLOGY:

·         Proficiency in MS Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Access)

·         Rally

·         SharePoint
