| Job Title: Application and Data Integration Developer(No H1B or Opts) Location: Columbia, MD Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Job Description:- Our Client's IT organization is undertaking a significant strategic objective to standardize its data and application integration tools, techniques and processes. The position of Data and Application Integration Developer will be a central figure in this transformation: understanding current integrations; rationalizing and improving those integrations; developing new integrations and fostering the development of a corporate integration strategy and architecture will be the primary focus of the person in this role. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:- · Gathers requirements for integration solutions and assists IT management in assessing business value · Analyzes, designs, develops, deploys and supports EAI and data integration solutions · Collaborates with system owners and developers to implement integrations · Manages corporate integration portfolio · Collaborates with BI developers in the design and development of Master Data Management capabilities · Defines, implements and promotes system integration best practices across the organization · Supports and provides advice on a comprehensive EAI and data integration strategy Required Qualifications:- · Familiarity with Master Data Management design patterns, tools and techniques. · 2-3 years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, testing and maintaining data integration systems and software (specifically within the Microsoft stack.) - MS SQL Server Integration Services (2008 R2 or higher) - MS BizTalk (2013 or higher) - C# .Net (v4 or higher) · 2-3 years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, testing and maintaining application integration systems and software. · Working knowledge of standard integration design patterns (P2P, Hub/Shared database, ESB etc.) · Solid experience developing against modern APIs (Rest/ODATA, SOAP Web Services, ADO.NET, ODBC, OLEDb, MSMQ etc.) · Solid relational database design and development experience · Understanding and experience with requirements gathering and testing techniques related to integration development projects · Experience with standard application lifecycle management processes (e.g., version control) and tools (e.g., Visual Studio) Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: 2-5 Preferred Qualifications:- · Excellent organizational and communications ability; ability to present · Ability to work both independently and within a team setting · Experience in data quality initiatives and technologies · Experience developing Enterprise Service Bus EAI systems · Experience developing publish and subscribe data messaging architectures · Experience with Scrum and other Agile software development techniques applied to integration development projects |
