Java Full Stack Developer

6-18 months contract

Beltsville, MD

 

Must have experience in JNI (java Native Interface) and must be local to MD

Candidate or employer must provide visa copy.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

§  Education

o   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

 

§  Knowledge

o   Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on development experience leveraging solid software development techniques

o    Working knowledge in technical leadership of development remote teams

o   Current knowledge in systems development of computing architectures and environments; knowledge or relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical.

o   Strong in both breadth and depth of experience with multiple programming languages and development techniques.

o   Capable of complex project work while balancing application support responsibilities.

o   Strong ability to accurately estimate project development activities.

 

§  Technical/Skills

o   Critical Required -Object Oriented Modeling

o   Critical Required - JNI ( java Native Interface ) Development

o   Critical Required - Java Development

o   Critical Require – JQuery

o   Critical Required – Web Services/REST/JSON-RPC

o   Critical Required – HTML5/CSS

o   Critical Required – JSON/XML

o   Required – Visualization experience  in plugin like Highcharts/D3

o   Required – Spring/Hibernate

o   Required – Swing

o   Required - JFX

o   Highly Preferred – JS Angular2/TypeScript

o   Highly Preferred – RF Test and Measurement or related industry experience

o   Highly Preferred – Hibernate and Tomcat development experience

o   Preferred - C++ Development

o   Preferred – Geographical Information Systems ( GIS )Development - ( Google API experience )

o   Preferred – Data Base Design and Development

o   Preferred - User Experience Development

o   Preferred - UI/UX Design Experience ( User Interface ( UI ) User Experience ( UX ))

o   Preferred -  Steaming or Batch processing/mediation/ETL

o   Preferred - SQL development  ( Datastax Spark and Cassandra is the data base environment  in addition to MYSQL)

 

Additional Required-

·         Must be Senior level and good communicator

·         Proven ability to delegate work and work in a team

·         Code Review experience with strong working knowledge of methodologies

·         Strong Written skills and proven ability to document code,  requirements,  architecture
