Description: Our Client, a non-profit medical research center, is looking to hire a Lawson Systems Analyst in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, test, and implement custom or vendor supplied systems software;
· Document, assist with, and/or performs software installations, configurations, and customizations;
· Maintain production systems to ensure reliable performance, appropriate change management and security;
· Perform system assessments, process analysis, and requirements definition;
· Resolve issues and perform root cause analysis
· Assist in documenting systems policies, procedures, and training materials.
Requirements:
· Experience with system development, implementation, and support (5+ years);
· Experience at both the functional and technical layers of Lawson Application;
· Experience with workflow automation (Infor (Lawson) Process Automation (IPA));
· Experience with Infor (Lawson) Security practices;
· Experience with ImageNow or other document imaging system in a business environment;
· Experience with Crystal Reports, MS Reporting Services, SSIS packages, or other reporting tools;
· Experience with JavaScript or other scripting languages;

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform a key leadership and mentoring role in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, text mining, data discovery, statistical methods, database design and implementation;
- Document analytic environments required for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data (Social Media Sites);
- Translate broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and concrete individual goals;
- PHASE1 - Migrate SAS data to SQL Server;
- PHASE1 - Resolve any data issues (cleansing, accuracy), Transformations, Error handling, Logging & Configurations;
- Apply data modeling techniques;
- Review and move programming objects into;
- Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments;

Responsibilities:
• Work with customers to define requirements to personalize and optimize the financials software for customer use; then utilize JD Edwards tools and utilities to implement personalization;
• Create personalized reports, modify screen templates, maintain UDC tables, modify and support UBE batch processes, assist with optimization of the batch scheduler and assist with the configuration of security settings;
• Mentor applications staff to achieve self-reliance with the JD Edwards software development tools and utilities;
• Identify processes for improvement, document existing processes, identify and analyze gaps between current processes and product capabilities, design new processes, develop process performance measures and assist users with transition to a new process;
• Handle day-to-day management of assigned projects and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met;
• Write software user manuals and technical documentation.
Requirements:
• Experience with implementation and maintenance of the financial component of JD Edwards software package;
• Experience with Oracle 10g / 11g database;
• Experience with JDE on AIX;
• Experience with Legacy data interfaces and data integration;
• Experience working as a JD Edwards Developer (6+ years);
• Business analyst level understanding of a wide range of processes, with at least 4 years of experience with financials, GL, AR and AP (preferred);
• Experience with JD Edwards tool set, building and modifying master business functions, and programming in C++ (preferred);
