Job Description:
Main Function
- This position entails providing Enterprise Integration Engineering services at client with a focus on maintenance of TIBCO Business Events and Business Works infrastructure. The position requires ability to provide architecture and design assistance, training, best practices and support of TIBCO infrastructures.
- The main responsibilities concern the maintenance and troubleshooting of CEP/EAI/BPM application- and environment-related problems, with particular emphasis on supporting TIBCO BusinessEvents installations.
Primary technologies that require expert level proficiency:
- TIBCO BusinessEvents 4.x
- TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x
- TIBCO Administrator
- Linux & Shell scripting (Linux or UNIX)
- Technologies where proficiency is desired:
- TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM 2.x
- TIBCO ActiveMatrix Administrator
- TIBCO Hawk
- TIBCO iProcess
- Messaging Middleware (TIBCO EMS/RV, IBM Websphere MQ, Solace, etc.)
- XML/XSD/XSLT
- Web Services (SOA)
- SQL
- Core Java
- Other CEP and BPM technologies (Drools, Esper, jBPM, etc.)
- 90% Support and 10% Development (approx.)
- Flexible – willing to provide coverage during weekends and or early/late shifts
- Well familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems. Level of workable expertise with LDAP/AD implementations.
Main Duties
To work within the Enterprise and Data Integration Team delivering expertise to TIBCO BusinessEvents and TIBCO BusinessWorks. Will be supporting different groups across asset class like Credit, Rates, Prime, Equities, FX, etc. The role covers all aspects of the service delivery including:
• Enterprise Integration consultancy to internal customers
• Problem analysis
• Problem Management
• Change Implementation/Planning across dev/test, production, BRP
• Capacity Planning
• Unit and Systems testing
• Systems Management
• Configuration Management
• DR invocation/testing Documentation
Essential Person Requirements
- Degree Educated with a Computer Science Background
- Cross platform skills and some development experience
- Excellent customer focus and client facing skills.
