Position: Sr. Android Developer
Location: New York City
Duration: 12 Months+
Must be local to New York City
Required Skills:
· Minimum of 7-10 years of overall software development experience
· Minimum of 2-3 years of real-world and hands-on experience developing software for mobile platforms. Specifically Android.
· Solid Android Development experience is required. Relevant experience includes knowledge of the full technology suite for the Android platform (e.g. Java, Eclipse and the Android SDK).
· Working knowledge of standard user interface practices for the applicable platform is also desirable.
· Experience in working with REST APIs in Android and a good working knowledge of HTTP is a must
· Experience with XML and JSON feeds and developing web services for the mobile environment is a plus.
· Experience developing native applications on one or more mobile platforms is desirable.
· Media experience is a plus, but not required.
· Candidate must be a good communicator.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
