·         Title: Senior ETL Developer

·         Duration: 3 months, possibly longer
Location: Lakewood, CO

 
Job Description:
Required Skills:
·  5+ years of experience using Informatica Power Center (including client) and Power Exchange (experience with Version 9.5 a plus).  Experience should include:
o   Installing software on UNIX / LINUX servers and Windows servers
o   Tuning (server level and transformation level)
o   CDC (using Informatica Power Exchange)
o   Designer tools
§  Source Analyzer
§  Transformation Developer
§  Mapping Designer
§  Mapplet Designer
§  Workflow Manager and Monitor
§  Repository Manager
o   Metadata Manager
o   Creating and executing transformations from multiple sources (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, and files).
o   Developing Informatica Framework documentation
·   5+ years of experience using analytical and design skills related to:
o   Data warehouse including:
§  3NF and Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema)
§  data modeling
§  physical database designs
o   General ETL concepts, processing, and functionality including
§  slowly changing dimensions
§  process flows
§  data flows
§  source-to-target mappings
o   Problem and error identification and solving skills
§  Ability to identify communication issues
§  Ability to identify database issues (e.g. tnsnames.ora entries)
§  Ability to debug and correct defects and other Informatica failures

·         5+ years of experience of strong technical writing experience creating detailed design documentation and technical specifications using MSWord, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
· 5+ years of interaction experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server etc.)  SQL, PL/SQL, and Transactional SQL (T-SQL)
·  Strong development experience on Windows and Unix-based operating systems
·   Advanced Unix shell scripting skills
·  Provide leadership, guidance, best practices, and recommendations based upon actual experiences

·         The ability to work independently and prioritize assigned tasks based on project demands
 

 

 

·         Desired Skills:
·  Experience with developing and configuring centralized Business Rules and Decision Trees. Knowledge of Oracle Business Rules would be a plus.
·  Experience with Oracle SQL Developer tool
· Experience with Oracle Data Modeler tool
·  Experience working in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
·  Experience working in the Insurance or Healthcare industry
Education:
·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline
·         Informatica Certified Expert
